Rain yowled as her brother, Night, raked his claws along her pelt. Why is he doing this to me?!

Rain collapsed to the ground, panting. She glanced over at the pool of blood and winced. A menacing hiss echoed throughout the dark meadow. Rain lifted her head weakly and spotted a glowing white she-cat standing above a tall sycamore tree. "I am Icestar, the proud leader of Sunclan. What are you doing in Sunclan territory?"

Night didn't respond. Instead, he raced across the tall grass, aiming for Icstar's neck. Icestar leaped high into the air and landed squarely on Night's shoulders. Night fell, causing Icestar to crush him. She unsheathed her claws and raked them across Night's belly so hard, causing a giant gash to appear in his stomach, and showing his snow-white bones.

Rain's eyes watered up. Even though her brother abuses her, he was still her kin. She wearily got up and faced Icestar.

"Don't you dare hurt my brother like that!" she yowled and leaped at Icestar with outstretched claws.

The two she-cats jostled together in a pile of teeth and claws. After what seemed like moons, the she-cats separated, eyeing eachother warily. Rain glanced at the damage she's done to Icestar: Icestar's head hung low as she panted, her shoulder badly scratched. Rain winced as her own pelt stung with unbearable pain.

Icestar lifted her head up. "This isn't over..." She walked away towards the rising sun, into her own territory.

Rain glanced at her half-dead brother. "Come on Night....let's go to our new home.....Rainclan...."

Night stood up slowly, careful not to send more blood gushing out. The two walked side-by-side into the opposite direction....into their new territory.

(btw, Icestar just turned into the leader, so she's not very old. Also, Night died so...yea.)
