Rainstar woke up and departed from her den to see most of her clan centered in the clearing. She yowled, "What is going on?!"

Oakpaw answered, "Cherrypaw returned!"

Fadingmist added, "But she's terribly hurt."

Rainstar leaped down, landing on the soft meadow grass. She ran towards where the crowd of cats are spaced out slightly more.

And there she saw a bloody Cherrypaw, with a giant slash across her face.

Rainstar asked, "What happened?!"

Cherrypaw rasped, "I was almost at Fallenclan camp when I met up with a bunch of Sunclan apprentices. They started attacking me, but I didn't do anything to them. Then this cat called Ripplepaw raked his claws across my face and caused this." she indicated to her face, trying to avoid spewing out blood from her mouth.

Rainstar muttered, "Do you have more to tell me?"

Cherrypaw nodded slowly. "Right after Ripplepaw created this injury, he told me that if I go on Sunclan territory again, his claws will make its way to my neck. He said I need to remember this lesson they taught me, everytime a kit looks at my scarred face."

Rainstar's expression turned into a glare. "This calls for revenge!!!!" she caterwauled around the camp.

Many of the cats yowled in agreement, already whispering to each other about battle strategies.

Rainstar continued, "We know that the apprentices are traveling, so we will send two groups out to battle: one to attack the traveling apprentices, and the other to attack Sunclan camp. Although we still need strong warriors to defend our own clan."

"Stormcloud! Assign each cat their group."

Stormcloud nodded and started calling out cats' names.

Spottedwing hurriedly came over and took Cherrypaw over to the medicine cat den.

Rainstar leaped onto the Sky Vine, observing her clan. "We need every cat to become as vicious as Tigerclan...."
